Day 3:

We started off the day with a water hike in Majrase.  The Majrase is a series of streams and small lagoons flowing down into the Kinneret and was a great chance too cool off in the Israeli sun.

Next we visited the grave of Rabbi Akiva and the Old City of Tiveria where we learnt about the great personalities of our Jewish history. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akiva_ben_Joseph

We had free time in Tiveria for lunch following which we headed to the Kinneret cemetery where we heard the story of the chalutzim (pioneers) and the 2nd Aliyah.  Buried there are many members of the surrounding kibbutzim and moshavim.

We then did water sports on the Kinneret and perfected our skills at staying on a banana boat!

After drying off we boarded our boat to enjoy an evening  of cruising on the Sea of Galilee during which we enjoyed the Israeli music and drumming.
